Funding
At Caring Incentive, we are aware of the funding issues which can arise when considering social care support. Your local authority should be your first information source and can signpost you to various organisations which can assist you, your family or a representative acting on your behalf. All social care support is subject to a means test and the criteria is set annually by Parliament and an assessment of need is completed by your local authority.
What Are Our Hourly Care Fees?
Our hourly visiting care service is arranged around what you require; everybody is different and that’s why we take the time to understand your unique requirements.
With a choice of 30, 45 or 60 minute calls (and multiple hours if needed) as well as sleep-in support, we have the experience and flexibility to meet your needs – and because our service is so flexible, we can change our service as your needs change.
Contact our team today who will be happy to go through the costs. Costs differ depending if care is needed in the week, the weekends or bank holidays and we will make you aware of this on the phone call or via emails – there are no hidden costs. Our hourly care customer service advisor will tell you everything you need to know to ensure you get the right amount of care.
Our Live in Care costs are charged on a weekly basis and other services are charged at an hourly rate. You will only pay for the level of care that you need instead of a flat rate across the board. Our fees are always agreed with you before we start providing you with the service which you will need. Please call our office to request our prices.
Local Authorities are offering their Service Users a Direct Payment, Personal or Individual Budget which can give you much more say in how you spend your care funds. We are able to support individuals on Direct Payments, If you would like more advice on how to obtain direct payments, you can contact the direct payments department at your local Social Services, or if you have an existing social worker they will be able to give you more information.
Services are tailored to each individual’s needs and wishes and can be provided from a quarter of an hour visit up to 24-hours support. For further details about the services available please contact the branch by calling us or by email, all contact details are available on our contact page.
You may be entitled to social care funding support, subject to your financial circumstances. For more details contact your local social services who can advise you further.
If you have already been assessed by your local council as needing social services support, you are likely to be allocated a Personal Budget, this can be paid in the form of Direct Payments, Individual Service Funds (ISFs), or Individual Budgets.
You may come across many other phrases for these but fundamentally they all mean the same important thing you have more choice and control over the care and support you receive.
Often, the Local Authority does not provide funding to cover everything that you wish to include in your care plan and only covers the basic essentials. You may wish to top up your care plan and pay for some extras yourself. It is possible to do this and many of our customers do.
